@runeleft: don't you raise your voice at me.
" i didn't raise my voice at you! i yelled. that's what happens when you get frightened by someone. " mark had decided to come out to the woods to relax, to sketch and take in the scenery. it's nice to have a place to disconnect from the rest of the world. for a moment, he had thought that it was some animal (and in a way, mark isn't sure if she isn't an animal). he had seen her before in the hallways— bright eyes and blonde hair and loud, yappy personality. he doesn't even remember her name (did it begin with an m? an n?). mark blinks up at her from where he sits, fingers curling around his sketchbook protectively. there's a drag path under his foot from where he jumped.
" why are y'out this far? " there's another question hidden underneath. it's more of an 'why do you think you get to encroach on my territory?' (but let's note this: it's the woods. it's nobody's territory.) there's a frown painted on his mouth. " leave. or i'll throw a twig at you. "
