Summary: While the Hansa is on their journey searching for the druids of Caed Dhu, Jaskier goes missing. Geralt is worried, very worried.
It is almost dark when Cahir finds Milva and Regis. He collapses against a tree trunk, holding his side, gasping and panting like a dying mammoth.
"What is it? Where's Geralt? And the bard? Have you found him?" Milva urges.
Cahir shakes his head, too winded to say anything quite yet.
"Here, have a sip of water, lad. And then tell us what's wrong."
Cahir takes the proffered canteen from Regis's hand and empties it in one long draught.
"Thank you," he says, wiping the sweat from his forehead with his sleeve. Then he tells his friends the little he knows.
"Geralt disappeared? Dammit!" Milva curses. "What has this foolish bard gotten us into this time?"
