The butterfly isn't really a butterfly, I haven't gotten around to making picot stitches yet. Figured I'd get the hang of the simple loops, and re-learn how to count first. 😂 It's a work in progress- the green ring ended up with the wrong kind of knot because I lost where I was at.
I tried using some 15wt poly thread I had with a dmc floss card, and immediately understood why cotton was recommended. Grabbed myself a 10wt thread and stationary bobbin shuttle just to see if I can get this to stick. Since I've done macrame in the past, the concepts seem fairly familiar, but handling the shuttle is going to take some getting used to. I'm just excited to have an even more portable hobby haha
