So a friend of mine (met through work) is a runner. Like a runner runner. She is sponsored by Under Armour. Qualified for the Olympic Trials. She is also super sweet and just wants to run with anyone so we decided to run next to each other on a treadmill this morning. It was great and we plan on doing this routinely on Tuesday mornings. :) Progress

11.03.18 Back to running. Eating vegan and doing my best to cut out alcohol for the next two weeks. Doing some interval training with my dog. Opened up abt my case of CSA.
8/14 Runner's Log - 10 miles @ 8:42
Completed 10 miles today. Ran the treadmill instead of outside on the pavement to give my shins a bit of a break. 10 miles on a treadmill feels like 20 outside it's so boring! Knees still feeling pretty stiff...have an appt with an orthopedist this week to see if there's anything i need to be concerned about.
8/9 Runner's Log - 2.0 miles @ 9:00
Easy run this morning on the treadmill after strength training. The pain in my knees is beginning to worry me a little. A general soreness under and on the kneecap, in both knees but particularly the right. It's been bothering me on and off since I started longer runs. Gearing up for a big 16 miler this weekend. I'll evaluate it then and see how I feel. Onward!
8/7 Runner's Log - 4.5 miles @ 7:57
Got only two runs in this week, this being the second. I worked out earlier in the day, naturally taking my MuscleTech (Affinitive client) supps - preworkout, creatine and protein. The effects of that coupled with the near 90 degree temperature and high humidity and I totally failed at 2.5 miles 3/4 of the way across the brooklyn bridge. Walked back across and then finished the last 2 miles. Not a good day.

Definitely felt it not having run in 5 days. Ran the Brooklyn bridge at sunset which was a mistake. Such a gorgeous view, but *hundreds* of tourists in the way taking pictures, stopping in the middle of the run lane, clogging up the path. I must have photobombed at least 50 tourists. Oh well, consider them lucky :)
