I was kinda wondering why they didn't use a trans actor/actress too. I haven't watched the video, but I remember thinking that when my roommate told me they previewed it at their concert in May.

I feel the same way. I haven't watch the video either, but seriously would it have been that hard to find a trans actor/actress to represent a trans person?! because what arcade fire and andrew did now seems more for promoting self-image like 'yay look at us we are open-minded,' rather than actually trying to represent transgender people
