Hi!! I would love to know more about the lighthouse wip….

This one was a suggestion from my friend Alex who is a first reader for a lot of my fics despite not being into Shameless. She was vague about wanting a lighthouse and being trapped in a storm.

My idea so far has Ian as a lighthouse keeper in a lighthouse that's only accessible at low tide. Mickey lives in the nearby village. Ian keeps to himself, but Mickey sometimes delivers supplies from the village. One day there's a storm coming and he cuts it a bit too fine on the tides and has to stay in the lighthouse to wait it out...

I haven't really started writing much yet, but the idea is noodling around waiting for me to finish CA and maybe summer camp. This will probably be my next fic though.

How many hours of sleep per night do you get? Between 5 and 7 generaly.

Do you dream every night? Yes, but I don't remember each of them.

What’s the earliest dream you remember? Maybe something in my childhood apartment when I was less than 6, just being there.

What’s the worst dream you’ve ever had? Maybe prison, or locked places. I've a real phobia of them, lol.

Have you ever had a lucid dream (where you know you’re dreaming)? Yes, the ones where I dream I'm late at work when my alarm hasn't ring yet

What’s something you wish you could do in a dream but could never do in real life? Maybe driving.

Do you have recurring dreams? Yes, maybe spending time with of my close friend. We often talk but we are living far away of each other. I'm always happy when I dream of us spending time together.

Finally, what’s a real-world dream you have that you’d like to accomplish one day? Improving my writing, becoming the author of a novel or a short story.

Favorite review you've gotten? i have gotten so many incredible comments that made my heart swell!! one of my favorites that i can think of off the top of my head from a very dear friend: "you know what I’ve realised that I love about this? Like, I can hear Ian and Mickey’s voice. But I can also hear yours. And it’s just making me continuously smile :)"

38. Fic idea you're most excited to get to? i dont know if we can call it an idea and excited might be a bit of an exaggeration but i think it'd be fun to write a sports au if i can just come up with a uuuhhhhh Plot. 😂

9. what do you think is the most OOC moment from any character?

Oooh, I love this one. Because this is where fandom lives... In the moments where we look at canon and go "they would not fucking say that" 😂.

My first thought is Ian in season 11 not comforting Mickey when he's crying about Terry... I think I saw someone else talk about that, so it's not entirely original, but it definitely jarred.

There's also some stuff with Kev in early season 1 being more skeezy than they eventually settled on, but I think that was teething problems rather than making a more established character ooc, so I'm not sure it counts.
