“No, no.” Sophie spoke rather adamantly, head shaking from side to side as curls bounced off of her face. This had been a questioning she had been asked several times before and the answer, at least as far as she was concerned, would never change. Whilst her spirit may have died that night, she remained very much alive despite several reputable news publications announcing otherwise. “I am Sophie Ellery, and I won’t be answering any more of these ridiculous questions. My only answer is that you shouldn’t rush to conclusions based upon the nonsense that is posted in what is essentially nothing more than tabloid magazine.”
And with that, the brunette turned the opposite direction. Sophie had once been so well trained at how to answer such invasive questions but ever since the night she almost died, her social skills had seemingly faltered. She was sure the cameraman had caught her muttering a curse word or delivering a rather pained expression. As her eyes rose from the concrete to the people who passed her by, she noticed a familiar figure. A friendly smile found its way to her lips. This was certainly going to be nothing short of interesting.
“Hello, stranger.”
