Swallowing, hard, Rachel took the bandages from between his fingers and set herself down on the sandy floor outside the view of the others. She was hurting, and a lot more than she was letting on as she trailed towards the back of the group most of the time but she insisted she would be fine. She had to be, there wasn’t much of an alternative out here.
By this point it had been two days since she’d had a fresh change, and with supplies so rare she was starting to ration the little medication she had managed to grab along the way. It was starting to hit home that if her wound was going to stop her from walking, she wasn’t going to get far. Gritting her teeth the last few hours had been the only way to try and hang onto her sanity.
As she pulled up the leg of her trousers to reveal the dirty bandages she still had wrapped there, Rachel had one eye on what she was doing and one on Thomas.
“ Nastier than it looks, promise.”

“ Girls ones are broken, didn’t think anyone would actually be in the boys seeing as practice finished well before ours. Oh I wish i had a camera for your face...”
Turning her back on him, Rachel was still grinning from ear to ear and trying not to laugh. She did honestly have no idea he was in the boys locker room, and she had shouted before walking in but it was a little hilarious to her.
“ Hurry up, I’ll kill you if you use all the hot water.”

“ You realise you’re incredibly irritating, don’t you? It’s like you have some magic way to press all my buttons to drive me mad. I don’t know whether to love you or hate you half the time.”
Not all members of the Capitol had the honour of being able to sponsor tributes when the Games were on; only the richer or higher up members of society were allowed to do that. That group of people included Minho. It was more down to his family's money that he was part of that 'lucky' group but he wasn't particularly bothered about whether he could sponsor someone or not. Which was why, when it came to the Games, he was always one of the last few to pick a tribute to sponsor; he just didn't care enough to spend all his time trying to choose.
He was happy for mentors to try and convince him though. And that was exactly why he was meeting with a mentor, to talk about sponsorship. "Thomas, right?" He asked with a raised brow as he walked towards the male, smile adorning his features. "What can I do for you?"

“What the fuck are you doing here?” Here being the club. Now being when he’s supposed to be dancing. And you being one old college friend.

“Bloody hell,” he muttered to himself, staggering over to the door of the flat. “Who the hell’s calling at this hour?” It wasn’t, of course, an early hour-- unless you worked nights and got home at four in the morning, and had promptly drunk yourself to sleep. He peeked through the peephole and his eyes widened. He opened the door. “What the hell are you doing here?”
