Nearly ready to roll solid and gravel. Though they do not show in the upper photo, the contractor has brought a bunch of the fence posts that I will need to keep cattle off the runway when it is done.

Runway work is going great!
RUNWAY PROJECT is underway!
The work on my Runway for the Woodhopper Ultralight Airplane project is beginning! This is the big front loader that will do the main land clearing and preparation.
After it is done, a Bobcat will be used for the final shaping, the surface will be rolled, topped with fine gravel and rolled again. Then I will have a runway! The contractor is also going to fence off the runway to keep cattle from walking holes and trails across it!
More pictures as the work progresses.
