I'm proud of how I spent International Women's Day... I didn't protest and I didn't sign any petitions (only because I'm ridiculously busy in the lead up to Saturday) but I spent the day supporting local businesses run by incredible, powerful, inspirational women who are paving their own way in the world. It's days like today that serve as a reminder to focus on the things that you're passionate about changing in a positive way. Our society is embedded in old world views when it comes to equality, but it's never stopped me. If you want change, you have to make it yourself, you have to become it. The gorgeous @alexfevolamakeup has done just that; she wanted women to feel strong, to feel empowered and to feel beautiful within themselves, so she launched @runwayroom, and I'm proud to be working with such a determined woman on The Fashion Advocate Runway.
