A farmer’s house in the nondescript Kirugavalu village is the country’s largest private rice museum
Everything about this article and the initiatives is wonderful:
1. both museums (we're simply calling them so because we have no other word?) and collections have been built by agriculturalists who have seen changing times and felt the need to preserve. its not some big govt initative, but a need that was seen within the community.
2. the kind of information they have collected is phenomenal, look at all the knowledge we can get from rice and barley!
3. the kind of conservation methods they use have to be studied more!
