Recently doing events around his book made Grant anxious, and not much made the investigative reporter feel nervous. Yet in his pursuit for justice for his sister he would endlessly put himself into dangerous situations with little care for his own safety, including doing a book reading and signing while deep into investigations of the Underground. “Who should I make it out to?” He asks the next person in the queue, holding out his hand for whatever they wanted him to sign for them.

There was a crowd gathering at the foot of a nearby building. Nick moved his way through the mass of people, pushing firmly with his shoulders until he could get a good view of what all the fuss was about. On the rooftop, two people were fighting in open combat. One of them seemed to be able to fly and the other one was hurling fireballs. “Who’s your money on?” He asked the person next to him, more focused on the free entertainment than whatever the fight was about or the possibility of collateral damage.

Paloma woke up slumped against a wall with a hammering in her head and a few hours missing. “Say no to drugs, kids.” She murmured as she dusted herself off and rose to her feet, her center of balance shifting rapidly, causing her to stumble. She took a deep breath and matted down her hair before turning to a person nearby, “Pardon me- where the fuck am I?”

Euna had halted in front of the screen when she’d heard the news of the whole switch. She’d also completely blanked out on anything that anyone had been saying around her. So when the news piece ended and her brain finally returned to its proper location, she did a full about face and grinned at the person behind her. “Damn, well that makes this a whole lot more interesting, don’t you think?”

“If it’s important, then you can schedule it some other day,” Anna said, shoving aside a stack of papers and glancing up to see who had just entered the room. “I’ve got about three days worth of paperwork to deal with and unless it’s an absolute emergency then I don’t want to hear about it.”

“For the last time, no, I don’t have a goddamn clue where Ma- Raúl is!” Caden whirled around to the person approaching, cutting them off before they could ask the dreaded question. He’d been questioned by the police already, multiple times, and now he was just flat out angry with any mention of the case.

whaddup, players! we’re so happy to see how the rp has expanded, and this is particularly exciting to see how the plot will unfold. as such, i would like to build off one of admin karo’s previous posts and say that we currently do have a writing prompt up! they are police questions, and we will use the questions to guide our plot and create a list of suspects. these statements are optional, but i would heavily recommend that you fill them out. to find out more about what happened on that date, please feel free to check out our gala page as well! the plot will progress forward on sunday, so feel free to answer the statements before then.
