angeal and sephiroth hahahaha

ooc; This kind of upsets me more than it really should.

Name: Gabrielle, a sort of combination of both of their pretentious religious-themed names.

Gender: Female. idk why but this is so much more amusing to me.

General Appearance: I suppose, assuming this is their biological child through some freakish twist of science, it would depend how much Jenova got through to her. I like to think she’d have Sephiroth’s hair and eyes, but more of Angeal’s features in other regards. Maybe her freaky-Jenova-eyes are a little more blue? Aw.

Personality: Probably a little bit reserved like both of her dads ahaha. u__u I feel like she would have a lot of trouble making friends at first, but she’d probably get more confident as she got older. Also, she would probably inherit a subtle sense of melodrama from both of them; if she was upset about something it would be THE END OF THE WORLD!!! and she would sulk for ages, lol.

Special Talents: Granted that she’s got Jenova traits from both sides of the family, she’d probably be pretty physically capable, though I think her dads (read: Angeal) would discourage her from actually fighting. But sometimes Angeal catches Sephiroth trying to teach her how to perform combat throws for “self-defence" and then as soon as he leaves it’s like “so. Knife-throwing".

Who they like better: It’s not really a matter of who she “likes" more but she’d probably be closer to Angeal. Sephiroth’s a pretty unemotional guy and I think even if he had a kid who he really cared about he’d still have trouble connecting with them. Angeal is super paternal and lovely in comparison and would be the one to go to for cuddles and advice and stuff.

Who they take after more: Probably Sephiroth tbh. I think even if she was really close to Angeal, he would be the “cool" parent who she spent less time with but emulated a lot more… unfair, isn’t it? She probably grows out her hair really long because “dad does it" and then if Sephiroth ends up sitting down with her to trim the ends or help her tie it up for school or something she’s stoooooked

Personal Headcanon: This would probably never ever happen even in the happiest of happy AUs because imo Sephiroth has way too many parental issues even without the whole “omg i’m an experiment!!" thing. He really has no concept of how to be someone’s child, so he would have no idea how to treat children either. If it was going to happen, Angeal would have to assume responsibility a LOT and it would be totally unfair. Having said that… it’s kind of nice to think that they’d sort it out eventually and be a sort of cute little awkward family. And then Genesis has coffee with them while Gabe is at school and gags whenever they start talking about buying cute little clothes or Parent-Teacher Interviews or—heaven forbid—future grandchildren.
