- your saving grace -

That night he had been unable to sleep at all, he just lay wide awake in his bed, his chest pounding and agonizing knowing that the girl he liked so much had been suffering. He couldn’t even fathom a reason why she would have ended up there and all he wanted was to hold her in his arms and tell her that everything would be alright.
The restlessness was so big that he got up before dawn and started dealing with his duties. This meant that he had nothing to do around noon, which was supposed to be the time of Rue’s delivery to his household. Arshile sat impatiently waiting for her arrival, his leg jumping up and down. He was so into his inner world that when he got called by one of his servants he jumped, startled.
“Young Master, they arrived.”
A hand on the handle of his katana. “Is she alright?”
The servant nodded and Arshile let go of the blade. “I’ll go now.” He said, rushing to the main entrance. However, he couldn’t help to stop when he finally saw her. Her face looked pale and weak. His chest hurt but he kept walking until she was finally in his reach. Without allowing any more time to pass he pulled her into a tight hug. “I’m so glad you’re alive and well.”
