honestly, my ultimate fucked up baby is this one. orphaned at eight, in & out of the foster system before eight, permanently in the foster system from eight to eighteen, & forced to become the adult of his “family” (for his twin brother) before he could really understand what an adult was. the only thing he’s ever really known is hell, & it’s taken its toll on him. he dropped out of high school in order to work & eventually ventured his way into some low-level drug dealing (though, really, he buys more drugs than he sells - he’s been hooked on drugs ever since he was fourteen, with four overdoses strapped to his belt in the last seven years), followed by becoming an escort (though it might as well be classified as prostitution).
depressed, anxious, & angry at the world, he’s just meandering through life with the expectation that he has to end up dead at some point (he just can’t really bring himself to purposely end his own life - all his overdoses were accidents, even if nobody really believes him). he doesn’t know what his own purpose is & has never managed to find a purpose in life aside from trying to ensure that his brother, lorcan, can make it somewhere with his.
extremely sad, depressing thoughts aside, he’s actually not that much of a depressing person to be around. he wavers on the quiet side at times, but when he chooses to talk, he talks. ninety percent of what comes out of his mouth is pure sass &/or sarcasm (might as well call is sasscasm). when he’s not being a generally huge ass, he has the potential for... well... non-ass things. it’s just really rare. like, really really rare.
this is kinda an add-on because it’s now official, but he is a trickster - only he believes he’s human. long story short, his powers have been suppressed by the same witch that caused him to be a trickster. he’ll find out eventually, & somehow get his powers back, & then probably be hell to deal with cause he’s a little shit. but until then, he’s oblivious & believes that he’s human.

the duchesnes are known as a kind of dragon royalty, having been around for an extremely long time (over a millenia, if not more). they’re very well known in certain ~dragon circles, though not all dragons automatically know of them. most other supernatural creatures either don’t know they’re supernatural or don’t know what kind of creature they are. (a request will be put up for loads of family members & inner circle members once the site opens.)
mallory’s the eldest child of her parents, though she does have cousins who are older than her. in terms of dragon age, she might as well be an infant - she’s only twenty eight. period. to be honest, she’s not all that familiar with her dragon side; it’s rather unknown to her, as they’re rarely allowed to transform because keeping their secret is top priority. she’s too busy playing along with her human life, which involves more money than she’d know what to do with, the public eye always lurking, & the expectation of being perfect.
she’s tough, she’s independent, & she’ll move mountains if that’s what it takes to achieve her goals. don’t stand in her way, because she will tear you down without even flinching or hesitating. there’s really nothing she can’t do once she sets her mind to it. but even though she’s the toughest lady you might ever come across, she’s not a complete bitch. when she’s not out conquering the world she can be... easier-going, though she struggles daily with just relaxing. wine is her best friend, & her collection has grown rather unhealthy. she’s not the easiest to get to know, but she’s not the hardest either. she’s choosy with who she trusts, but those in her inner circle will be defended to the death. she can be friendly plenty of times, but cross her & it’ll be a miracle if you’re still alive to tell the tale. at heart, she’s a true warrior.

this one i haven’t gotten the chance to one hundred percent figure out, at least in terms of family & history. he’s born to a rather large fairy family as the eldest of his siblings, counting up to a grand total of (about) six (maybe five?) younger sisters & one younger brother. but his parents didn’t pop their kids out one after the other; griffin was born back in the early nineteen-hundreds, while the youngest of the family were born only (about) two or three decades ago.
he’s married to a woman he loves, just not romantically. they met nearing a century ago, & eventually married off despite everyone’s objections. kids? griffin never wanted them, & neither did she. they traveled some, indulged themselves, & eventually came to terms with the fact that they’re both very very gay. nowadays, they’re still married & have still stuck together all this time. they’ve had flings with others, even relationships, but nothing’s ever been significant enough. when it comes down to it, they still love each other. (even if he’s been fooling around with his boss’s son for months now & thinks he might be falling really hard for the guy.)
griffin’s always been more of a... sweet soul. he’s not a pacifist, but he’s not a pushover either. he’s always floated somewhere inbetween, & the massacre seven months ago really shook him up (like, big time). although a lot of people consider him rather quiet, he’s really only quiet when he’s focused on doing something (such as work or reading, or whatever it may be). when he’s not doing something that he has to focus on, such as when he’s actually socializing, he’s much more talkative, but in a casual, almost soft way. still, despite appearing so... sweet & soft, he’s not one to take a ton of shit. push him too much & he’ll snap back, even if he might regret doing so.
needs: friends, coworkers, the usual stuff, older friends that maybe he’s known (off & on perhaps?) for decades, some flings (he not-so-often has flings with guys), some short-lived relationships within the last couple of decades, & so on

i’m actually not entirely sure what i’ll be doing with my fourth character, but i do have hayley atwell on reserve & i’m dying to use her. so far all i know is that she’s going to be very very gay & at least be... a few hundred years old, if not five hundred at the minimum. i’m currently leaning towards possibly having her be a reaper, hellhound, or something else along those lines. i want to do something more dark with her i think. but when it comes down to it i’m not entirely sure. i just really want to put her in a request rather than having to write up two hundred of my own.
