had a vocal of this lying around from a show last summer & just wanted to see if I could make something out of it the other night. interestingly enough it wasn’t until I was an hour into that hyperfixation that current events hit me.

This classic Victor recording of Russian Lullaby, arranged by Dick Rose for Bunny Berigan and his Orchestra, is beautifully remastered here by Mike Zirpolo. Mike sets the recording up with his usual fascinating history of Berigan at the time of this recording in 1937.
