Top House Impeachment Lawyer Goes Off on Trump and Giuliani for Spreading Russian Disinformation: ‘This is Collusion. Again…’

Daniel Goldman, the former federal prosecutor who served as the chief counsel for House Democrats in the impeachment of President Donald Trump, said on Saturday that the president and his allies are going back to the 2016 playbook ahead of the 2020 election by encouraging and promulgating Russian disinformation to influence voters.

“Trump was told that Russia was using Giuliani to spread disinfo to influence the election.  What did he do? He encouraged Rudy’s efforts and welcomed the help from Russia.  If that sounds familiar, it’s because it is. The same thing happened in 2016. This is collusion. Again.”

This damaged unstable person - propped up and enabled by the corrupt amoral Republican party -- creates chaos, drama and damage wherever he goes.   His behavior and statements prove his only concern is himself and his delusional beliefs.  Both of which take precedence over Americans and the USA.  

If you think it’s been bad so far; his desperate attempts to remain a squatter in the White House to avoid arrest and incarceration will reach its hysterical apex by November 3rd.  Flagrant voter suppression tactics and pandering to the most gullible part of his base (by the way as an elitist two-faced Republican he pretends to “like” them when he wouldn’t touch them with a ten foot pole) to perpetuate the voter fraud myth.   

He is consistent in two areas; tweeting lies and distortions. His tweets are filled with accusations, derogatory stereotypes, personal attacks and smears ad nauseum.  Always deceiving his “base” and pandering to whichever demographic he needs to get votes and get re-elected at ALL costs no matter what!  On Election Day 2020 by epic proportions that set records Biden/Harris will win in a crushing landslide.  

After Biden is sworn in January 2021, Trump will be facing indictments and criminal charges.  His list of charges should include Willful Negligence and Reckless Endangerment, obstruction of justice, conspiracy, bribery, treason and dereliction of his duty.  He’s responsible for the out of control COVID-19 pandemic in the United States and for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Americans.

He’s a danger to the world and to our democracy.
