Happy and blessed to announce my next project! This one is bringing me back to immersive theater as I’ve been cast as Rabbi Belazel. This one will push out of my comfort zone as I have to deliver my lines with a rustic Russian Jewish accent. Have you ever wondered who really are #Refugees? I am the second generation of a refugee family who had fled to #Iran from #Russia after the #WWII. I am a refugee myself now. I left Iran, 8 years ago after rapidly being arrested due to my works as a journalist and documentarian. My grand-grandpa was a #RussianJew, they fled because the Jews were being targeted and in Iran he converted to #Islam to be safe. Now, I am a Muslim and I am being targeted simply because I am a #Muslim #Intellectual #Refugee. Do you see the irony? There are millions around the world, regardless of religion, skin color or race. Your neighbor might be a refugee, yourself or your family might have been a refugee. A refugee is a human like you, the difference is you haven't lost as much as he/she has.
