As of 3:30 pm EEST, at least 99 people were injured, 11 of them kids. Russia hit the city center of Sumy on Palm Sunday morning, as people were gathering for church services.
This is happening in the second month since the United States proposed a ceasefire. That offer remained unanswered. Instead, Russia chooses more missile strikes, more destruction, more civilian deaths.
The world must not look away. These attacks must be met with condemnation, pressure, and action. Without a strong international response and decisive support for Ukraine, Russia will continue its war with impunity.
