"Listen, philosopher!" said the chief, and his voice grew strong and menacing, "I don't like these notions. You can do that in your seminary, but not with me: I'll give you such a thrashing as your rector never gave. Do you know what a good leather whip is?" "How could I not!" said the philosopher, lowering his voice. "Everybody knows what a leather whip is: an insufferable thing in large quantities."

If I don't return from my trip to Siberia, I can assure you it's not because I am surviving on my own in the Siberian wilderness.
My Russian Court.
Me: Josie and I realized that I have this thing for German guys. I don't know why.
Jaelyn: Okay, Catherine.
Me: I DON'T HAVE SYPHILIS.
A little bit of morning thought.
Today I woke up to a bunch of Russian kids and Russian parents screaming at each other. They were outside, and I heard them because well, I sleep with my window cracked a little bit. But I know they're good people, just a little bit annoying.
But,
I woke up, realizing I have to go to work at 11 AM. Sure, I make pretty okay money, sure, my coworkers are great. But I realized I miss my friends, over the last year. I woke up to meet new friends, and I've woken up to find that some friends were gone. But even worse, I've woken up to say goodbye to some friends that I didn't want to say goodbye to. I don't know how I don't cry, but somehow I don't. I guess it's because, at least for the friends I didn't want to say goodbye to, I know I'll see them again, and although they can't be replaced. They'll come back, somehow. I just know it. But in the meanwhile I'll keep making new friends to introduce when they get back....
Yeah, That sounds nice.
