CB & #16 (What is the most romantic thing someone has done for them)?

The most romantic thing for CB was that Rusty tried to learn cb radio code for CB.

No one else would really see it as 'romantic' but for the boys it was the most sentimental and personal thing either had ever done for the other

This tumblr so no shame to me also loving CB x Rusty... Like honestly incredible dynamic

I knowww there at odds half the time but like what if they weren't?

C.B, a lot more smart and introspective directly compared to the rest of freight and almost confused but intrigued at Rusty's almost overly optimistic or determined attitude despite, cb himself, having an odd perception that all engines are just all the same form of creature. Kind of surprised Rusty isn't actually extremely weak from just being more openly emotional too. (Low key emasculated Rusty compared to g.b but realizes he has a less one note conscious, aka CB discovers engines have feelings too and aren't all prideful jack asses but Rusty's just an 'exception', especially since he's a steam engine he's just a kinder creature in his world, and it's not like a super complex ark he goes through just a nice change and break from G.B)

And Rusty being morbidly curious about C.Bs violent nature despite how kind he appears and the fact half of his kindness (at least towards coaches) is genuine, him being a good chat too (cuz the rest of freights a bit loud and dramatic) and sort of hopes to kill him with kindness or keep him under some sort of wraps to prevent any mass destruction (I can fix him but non toxic cuz Rusty isn't emasculated/overly twinkified neither is CB btw). Also cbs gotta a sense of humor and a more controlled energetic personality (at certain times), he's also really neat. I imagine them playing telephone on a long trip with the rest of freight it's such a thought...

Another trait for Rusty cuz I keep focusing on CB ahhhh, he's also rlly smart too and can probably teach CB a thing or two because of his less closed minded perspective compared to "everyone" else, that goes for many topics besides 'don't murder engines', CB is surprisingly blunt on taking small things as fact and not looking further assuming everything for the worst
