I went to sleep worrying about my morning shift, and woke up to the news that I'm unemployed. I woke up to the news that my hotel was gone. I woke up to the news that my town was destroyed.

A tornado whipped through the area of Ruston, Louisiana, and devastated all in its wake. Only two lives were lost, amazingly, but it's still just such a shock.

‘Ruston Re-Imagined’ brings development

Ruston has a new recruitment tool that’s also the city’s blueprint for the next decade.

“Ruston Re-Imagined” is an updated, but much shorter version of the city’s Ruston 21 master plan.

The 36-page, full-color booklet contains information about economic development, transportation and infrastructure, downtown, land use and parks and recreation.
