My three week post op appointment went really well! My surgeon said I’m healing beautifully, and she was able to drain most of the massive hematoma on my left side! It just needed time to break down I guess? I still have a bit more fluid, but next week I’ll be back in to get the rest out 🫡 sorry for all of the top surgery spam but I am very excited to not have to drive 8 hours round trip after next week 😭😭

#rusty cog #I had to prepay 2k for anesthesia before my top surgery #and now I get a 5k bill for anesthesia services…#that’s almost as much as my fucking surgeons fee???#but of course it’s all out of network and insurance doesn’t touch that shit

I have my one week post op appointment tomorrow and I am begging for these drains to come out. That and some chicken nuggets

My surgery went great; the nurses and my surgeon were super nice and very affirming!

I’m on like, 6 different meds but they’re all to help me get better quicker. The only down side is that my vision is so blurry I can barely type 😭😭

If you live in North Carolina and are looking into getting any time of gender affirming surgery - Dr. Keelee MacPhee is the best! (I can also recommend a trans friendly doctor and endocrinologist!)
