Memo from the High Empress

It is hereby approved and ordered that it is okay to have multiple brains.  The High Empress reports that she has Sunday Brain. In her case,  this means she does not have to think or make any kind of logical sense on Sundays.  As a caveat, nothing productive is expected from her either.

Yours Truly, the Head of the Secret Police of the Village of New Rutabegaville™, has Friday Brain.  Friday Brain is widely known to remove all ‘People’ filters and creates a direct line from brain to mouth or keyboard.

Decree of the Secret Police of the Village of New Rutabegaville

There will be a permanent live Christmas tree in the town square.  Friday after work Santa will deliver enough presents for everyone in the Village.  All Village residents will be required to stop by, say something nice to the tree and pick up their gift.

Gifts may include ... cookies, cake, fruit baskets, super bouncy balls, glow in the dark mood rings, and many other goodies.

Decree of the Secret Police of the Village of New Rutabegaville

Saturday Nights there shall be a village wide lottery. The lottery winner will be notified at 230 AM by the sound of their door being kicked open by a contingent of the Secret Police.

The winning family will be dragged out of bed into the living room where they will be served hot chocolate and fresh chocolate chip cookies. When they have finished their reward, Secret Police contractors will replace their door and bid them a good night.

Jack booted thuggery has never been quite so tasty.

The first rule of the village of New Rutabegaville is thou shall not displease the High Empress.

The High Empress is my wife and is the nicest person on the planet. Everyone loves her and simply mentioning that she may have been upset by something is enough to set people off. Therefore, in the interest of peace and tranquility in the Village of New Rutabegaville, upsetting the High Empress is punishable by Exile.

Decree of the Secret Police of the Village of New Rutabegaville

We believe in clean, renewable energy. Therefore, while within the state limits of the Village of New Rutabegaville only roller skates, skateboards or foot powered scooters will be allowed.

The disabled, terminally clumsy, or utterly unable to get the hang of roller skates, will be allowed to have an electric powered grocery cart.

Longer distances will be traveled by train. Because trains are cool.
