‘My sister Odessa had thought me insane when I first told her I was moving to Oasis Springs, but I stood my ground. After everything that happened with the Henderson Fiasco I knew there was nothing left for me in Roaring Heights, a place I had called home for as long as I remember.
Oasis Springs, from the information I’d gotten from the library, was a small town in the middle of nowhere, with a population to match. The only notable thing I found about the town was the opening, and closure, of a car factory in ‘57. And even that seemed utterly uneventful.
But then again, as a paranormal investigator, you know that it’s usually the most uneventful of places that the strangest things occur.’
