Lulu dances to “Heaven Must Be Missing An Angel” by Tavares (15/07/1976).
One week ago today, we learned the sad news that Ruth Pearson had passed away on 27 June 2017. Ruth was co-manager of Ruby Flipper with her partner Flick Colby, the pair having previously been members of the dance troupe Pan’s People.
Fellow dancer Dee Dee Wilde in paying tribute to Ruth said, “Ruth had a wicked sense of humour, “joie de vivre” by the bucket load, and, when partying, never let the side down by having one drink too few.”
Ruth danced into the hearts of many. Her vitality, charm and talent will always be remembered.
On 27 June, Heaven, gained an Angel.
