One Piece OC Femslash Day 1: Flowers or Fairy Tale

Ruth was not the romantic type. Yes, she loves reading romantic novels. Yes, she had simple “crushes” here and there. However, if one were to expect her to say words like “I love you” or believe in things like soulmates, you were looking at the wrong place.

So when Seras brought a bouquet of red and blue roses, Ruth was utter confused.

Ruth looked down at the bouquet then looked up at Seras, who was delightfully pink and nervous.

Ruth began asking questions in her head, trying to remember if she forgot something.  What was the occasion? Did she miss something? And the real question: How in Betsy’s name did Seras know that Ruth loves flowers?!

“Um…..?” She didn’t know what to say.

Seras scowled and shoved the flowers closer to Ruth. She was looking away in embarrassment.

“Ruth, just take them!” Hesitantly, the merc reached out towards the plastic-wrapped roses and held it close to her chest as though carrying a baby. She continued to stare at Seras, feeling a bit awkward.

“Hey, uh, Seras. Now, I’m sorry if I don’t know, but um, what’s the occasion? I mean, they’re great but uh, why?” Ruth asked. She heard Seras sigh and saw that she had put her hand on her face, shaking her head.

“Gods, Ruth. I just wanted to give you flowers! You make it sound like I gave you something crazy like a wedding dress.”

“Oh.” Ruth let out. In all her time with people, whether for a one night stand or just a regular visit, she never received a gift from them without any ulterior motives. She never really questioned it, she just never thought about it, until now.

This was quite new to her. Ruth actually felt a bit happy, may be even giddily.

She smirked. “Oooo, there’s a wedding dress? How about we do some roleplaying next time? I’d love to ripe it off of you.” Seras’s whole body turned bright red. Sheswiveled her head and glared at Ruth.

“OH HELL RUTH!!! STOP MAKING FUN OF ME!!!” Ruth giggled and pounced on the tall albino. She rubbed her cheeks on Seras affectionately.

“D’awwww, you know you looooovvvvveeeee me” Ruth sang. Seras tried to get Ruth off but gave up seeing how strong Ruth’s grip was on her body. Seras turned her head and kissed Ruth. She still had a scowl on her face.

Ruth laughed. Maybe it wasn’t so bad, having a bit of “love” in her life. Especially if it was with Seras

Haha, Sure, though there isn’t much since it was a short relationship they had.

So right after Lea left the trio to go back to Alice, Ruth and Seras kinda wandered around islands. One day, they arrive on a particular island that was homed to the Viker’s new base.

First off, the Viker organization was a mafia organization that Seras once worked for but left after they did nothing to help her and her significant other when they were kidnapped and tortured.

While on the island, Ruth and Seras encountered a few of Seras’ old associates and thanks to Ruth, a fight between them happened. Later on, Seras told Ruth about her past and has her own panic attack. Angry, Ruth sets out to hunt down the Viker organization.

A few days later, it was on the news that the organization was destroyed but an unknown suspect. Seras immediately knew it was Ruth, who was actually shy about it. Seeing Ruth in a newer light, Seras had a bigger appreciation for Ruth.

For a few months, the two formed a really close bond. Some of it was physical, but never all the way, for Seras’ sake. Ruth knew Seras would never be able to form a sexual relationship with Ruth without having a romantic one. They had their moments where it seemed like they could fall in love with each other, but they never happened. Both wanted things from the other that they could never give.

So later on, seeing how their relationship was developing, or rather not developing, they decided to end what they had, on good terms, and go their separate ways.

Ha, I had kept their relationship a secret for awhile. It seemed a bit different from what was usually seen of from the Foul Females so I never really thought of touching on it. But I guess today is a good day to start :]
