I take solace in that they still came to investigate what you were doing with all that tape. Plus A+ on those perfect right angles, a part of my mind is soothed by how perfectly positioned it is :D
I’m so pleased you noticed :D I aligned two of the edges with seams in the floor, which helped, but I did put quite a bit of effort into getting it as square as possible!

like which book? hmmmm..... i think... its a tie between midnight and the sight honestly?
in midnight its the first book where theyre traveling such a long distance and also the first time that it alternates between 2 characters giving us a look into the traveling cats and back at camp so we dont feel left out on either (yknow before the newer books where youre alternating between 3-4 characters.... a Mess)
the journey was great in seeing new things yknow? with an sense of urgency and danger, but still pretty fun!
and with the sight, its totally new characters who only knew life at the lake! ofc theres the second half of new prophecy but.... it was drama and just a mess that couldve been easily fixed, with the sight we see the three growing up from when they were kits and into apprentices, it takes jaypaw and hollypaw some time to figure out where they belong but they manage and get through it, also theres jaypaws pov chapters where its slightly differently explained due to his blindness, and how he can feel others thoughts and pick up on their emotions very easily
theyre both just... so good
