I'm now so sure that the Aristocratic faction brainwashed the Prince in the first timeline. Duke Jenna wanted to eliminate the Monique household so much. The Monique house basically is loyal to the royal family because of a blood oath. But Duke Jenna wanted power and authority so much and wanted to be near the king or take control of it and because of Prince Ruve's upbringing a.k.a had never been felt cared and loved by his father, they can easily manipulate the boy.
I am beginning to think that when Duke Jenna said "...looks like we have to go with the original plan.", their faction was also behind with the appearance of Jieun. I've already seen the raws and I have the gut feel that Jieun is one of the Aristocratic faction's pawn.
