Imagining luckington + maine, and locus and maine just…figuring each other out. Exploring each other. Creating a relationship within each other as Maine, Tucker, and Wash all process previous baggage. Locus supporting everyone as they do so. The amount of firsts between Maine and Locus ahead of the others. Wash and Tucker walking in on Maine and Locus making out and touching and talking in soft voices, all romantic and shit, and that being their “oh” moment.

So we all know the characterization of luckington where Tucker makes all the moves and gets the three of them together of his own free will because he wants to. And I love that. But I raise you: him having All The Trauma and suddenly not knowing how to deal and thinking he’s broken and shit. And recognizing he’s attracted to both murder men, but believing he can’t actually be with them because he has to be the one with “no issues” so he can take care of them, and if he can’t be that person, then he shouldn’t be with them at all. And locus and wash just looking at him, looking at each other, and then going “oh god, we like him too.” And then they work together to seduce (i.e. show him basic respect and affection and love) him, but they have to keep upping the ante because the idiot can’t comprehend what they’re doing oh my god.

Just a true “we will both kiss you and verbalize our devotion to you, but pls for the love of god stop saying we’re just good bros” moment.

Tucker having to stop being friends with Locus and Wash after the latter two get together because they continue flirting with him, wanting to become a triad, and even though he has the biggest crush on them, Tucker’s just not getting it and instead is just all “I can’t keep doing this, y’all have each other and I’m not getting in the middle of that.” And Wash and Locus both having to sit him down after getting over their own 3000lbs of trauma and general angst to say “hey dumbass, we want you in the middle” and him going “…oh”

I dunno if anyone remembers that post!season 13 luckington fic I said I’d be working on (I am! It’s just very slow going!), but hoo boi trying to figure out POVs is grinding my gears. I know at the very least it’ll have Tucker’s and Wash’s….but where to fit Locus’? And when? Grrrr
