Instead of waiting until the end to say whether this is worth the money or not I will start out by saying that this is clearly a splurge and not a necessity. But it is oh so cool! This clearly takes places of your standard camper lock. And the reason we liked it is because your standard camper lock is often the same standard lock as other campers as well. So it can be very easy for someone to use their key to open up your lock as well. The one awesome thing with this keypad is that there is no longer a need to make and carry duplicate keys for everyone who is staying. No more worry of a key getting lost and then someone not being able to get into the camper. It gives you a nice chime when it locks and a different chime when it unlocks. And also has the nifty keychain button controller if you want to use that as well. One side note: It took a little shimmy and shake to get this unit to fit properly on our door and actually fully latch into the wall itself. But once figured out it works great!
