            ----------------- he’s chewing a wad of gum; found an old packet in the bottom of his backpack and went to town on the few pieces left. strawberry, he thinks, it lost its flavor ages ago and now he’s only keeping it to stave off the hunger. grubby sneakers hold fast to the grit of a skateboard, cruising along the pavement’s of seoul’s streets.  hands shoved   d e e p  within the pockets of his sweatpants, a high-collar zip up sweater hiding the bruising along his jaw and throat. 

                     another fight, taemin?---! you betcha; and he did a good job fending off those as--

          hold on. he knows that saunter to a female frame walking just ahead of him; the colour of her hair and the little purse too! a crooked grin stretches his face and taemin is off after her, a foot coming down to push his board a little faster, the wheels vibrating beneath him. hopping off the board at the last second and kicking it up into his left hand, the right arm swings and he draws kimmy underneath his elbow. curly bangs (messy bangs) sit against his brow and he’s already leering in at her.

“where y’headin’ off to so suddenly without me, huh?” he muses, keeping her tight in his grip. “got some date?”

she was happy for lacey. she really was. and damn it, sora was going to throw her the baby shower of the century when the time game. but what a lie it would be if she said it didn’t leave here feeling a bit empty inside, if not even slightly envious. an unexpected and unwelcome tear fell down her face just as she heard a knock on her office door and she wiped it away, “told her not to bother me today--” she murmured to herself, “what is it?” she didn’t realize her harsh tone was being met by her fiance outside and not her assistant, “oh--honey, i’m sorry. i didn’t realize...you can come in. sorry.”

donna was sat up in bed with her laptop, the only sound in her penthouse to be heard were her nails tapping gently on the keys, as well as the steady breathing of her boyfriend beside her. she paused a moment to cast a gaze to him, let her fingertips comb through his hair lightly before she focused back on her work, not aware if she’d woken him up or not with her actions.

It hurt her to do this, she remember’s the promise when they were children. But, they were adults and this was one of the school’s she always dreamed of going to. Plus, it wasn’t like they saw each other all the time now in days anyway. “Ri-Ri, you know I don’t want to leave but you have Annie, right? She’ll be here for you just like she’s been for the past few years.” reaching out to hold his hand, Sunmi sadly smiled “I’m just a skype call away and I’ll be back during breaks and you can always come visit as well.”

she glanced at the screen, full of smiles. “And I miss you more than the stars miss the moon.” Sunmi wasn’t known for being sappy but for some reason Jaemin brought that out of her. “Three more days, I can’t wait to see your stupid face in person.”
