elizabeth  “betty”  cooper !  don’t call her elizabeth unless ur her mom,  though.

she’s literally  THE  girl next door,  sweet,  kind,  a part of the  not-so-perfect-perfect family.

she does have anxiety due to how she was raised;  but her ways of dealing with it are  ...  not so healthy.

was in luv with archie andrews aka her bff for the longest time.  

that being said she’s super  bisexual.  don’t let her first crush tell u her sexuality ! 

her best friends are archie andrews,  jughead jones,  and veronica lodge.  she would die for them without one hesitation.

a journalist,  a straight a student,  a cheerleader,  tries to be there for her friends and family all at the same time,  an activist;  she is on  adderall  to help her keep up with all this.

her family home kept  A LOT  of pressure on her;  though her relationship with her mother is growing stronger each day.

her dad was blackhood tho so she kinda hate him now

she knows how to fix cars !  and motorcycles.  she also likes old films but also new films like jurassic world.  the same goes for music;  find her listening to classics,  but also new indie artists as well.  betty just enjoys what she enjoys !  she’s tryna live her best life despite all the crap it throws her.

her hair is always up in a ponytail !

has an orange cat named caramel. is also a blossom so that’s kinda wild.

Meet Miss Topaz, but also never call her that

Toni has grown up on the Southside of Riverdale and holds it very dear to her heart. She’s devastated about how Lodge Industries is trying to change about her home and will do basically anything to stop Hiram. 

She grew up among serpent members, but it wasn’t until she was thirteen that she was invited to join the gang, going through initiation and becoming a full serpent.

Since then she’s been a leading member in the group, commonly being referred to as ‘The Serpent Princess’.

Her family life was very hard and her mother passed away at a young age leaving just her and her father. He never really cared for her so she became extremely independent. Once she joined the Serpents he decided to leave, not notifying her of where he went. Toni was then left all alone minus a few relatives.

Her relationships in Riverdale are a little shakey, but she’s gotten closer to a lot of the Northside students lately and become part of the core Riverdale group

She’s very close with Jughead because of their roots and obviously with Cheryl as their relationship grows. 

Recently she actually moved in with Cheryl to give her a bit more comfort in Riverdale, but she still spends most of her time on the Southside.

Her personality is very unique

She’s probably one of the toughest people you’ll meet in Riverdale, but also one of the sweetest once you get to know her.

She’ll do anything to protect the people she loves, especially Cheryl.

Nothing really scares her. A rough family life gave her a very hard shell that very little people break through.

She loves photography and expresses herself through it, don’t be doing anything shady around town or she might just snap a pic and expose you.

hi, i’m elsa and this is my bby tati. her main inspos are Katherine pierce from TVD and Micheal Langdon from AHS. she’s 17 and has lived in the northside her entire life. im really up for any plots!

- She was adopted by a young mortal non-magical couple in Greendale from an orphanage, that was unaware of her demonic background when she was one. Tati honestly does not know about who her biological parents really are, she has always been curious about them. However as she was growing up with her adoptive family, she always felt like she saw the world in a different inexplicable way like she would get visions of stuff and see otherworldly beings. She kept it secret from her human family, knowing that they wouldn’t take it like something realistic and kinda freak out if she showed them what they saw. So like her origin of birthparents is unknown, the people who worked for the adoption agency/orphanage said some hikers found her alone as a baby in the forest and took her to the police. I sort of have this idea that her family could be like the one in the murder house. 

- eventually her parents decided to move out to riverdale when she was one after adopting her since her dad started a newspaper business there and her mom became a school teacher. they basically just seemed like your typical family. 

- so tati’s personality went through a lot of changes, I would said that her personality as child definitely embraced the more human innocent side even though she was seeing things that she felt like other fellow human beings didn’t. i think that she would have been too intimidated to like grow into the darker side of her.she was very obedient and tried to fit in with others as much, she was like a social butterfly and very involved in the community. she was like the popluar kid in school. 

- a wanted plot is for her to have connections with other demons/ half-demons that help her accept her side.

- however, her devilish behavior started to kick in as she got older (15-17) that she began to become more vengeful and frustrated easily, like even over small normal things. she began to get more provoked by the demons she saw on daily basis and other spirits. like things that she was trying to ignore was becoming more hard, it was difficult for her to come to terms to accept that part of her. she started to crave human blood, like badly and started to set things on fire mentally when she was angry even though she didn’t to do it on purpose. those things started to come naturally to her. her human moral side was starting to fight with her demonic side.

- btw she has a birthmark on her wrist of a red crescent moon, one of her dreams are about her being born on crescent moon but she can’t see who her biological parents are.

- one of her secrets is that during the first time she fed on a human, it was an student from northside and it took place at the party. she tricked the boy into thinking she was going to make out with him and led him to the woods, she ended up draining him of his blood and energy. she covered up her tracks and created a fake story, saying she saw him get attacked by an animal.

- her parents began to notice, they got worried and whenever they would try to talk to her, it wouldn’t work out. like things would break in the background such as glass, or she would just start have tantrums. they took her to therapies and support groups at church, to try to help her out. she sort of pretended to go along with it, even though she was feeling uneasy about everything. 

- she is a junior at northside, but doesn’t interact with much of the students there ( expect for some southsiders that are in gangs ) or students she notices are magical beings. she sort of distanced herself after everything she has gone through and is seen as an troublemaker bc she’s constantly getting involved in something. she’s in river vixens though, as an extra-curricular activity to do and put o college applications. 

- she heard about whole thing with the farm and is starting to have visions about it, she feels uneasy about because of her human side and also attracted to it due to her demon side. I was thinking sometimes she sort of lurks around there since sort of brings her visions to life, she even talks to the things she sees there.

‘sup fuckers i came up with this character while watching mr and mrs smith don’t call me out

jane is an  actress  -  not in the way of movies or tv shows,  but by changing parts of the way she acts according to the people and place.

she was born on the  northside  of riverdale;  and her father had lots of money,  but mother a ghoulie turned northsider.  her father’s family never approved  -  and instead of letting her parents marry,  forced her parents to divorce and mother to leave her father for the northside  -  by using a lot of money.

so she had money,  and lived pretty comfortably.

the ghoulies were her family from the beginning.

is the half sister / cousin to malachai   @ghovlieking   (  leader of ghoulies  ).  

AKA she and everyone else on the ghoulies thinks they’re cousins but she’s actually his sister oops   (  malacahi knows tho he’s just a butt  )  

their  mom is being paid to stay quiet

meanwhile she sorta did her own thing;  the ghoulies treated her as one of their own,  so she always respected them for what they did.  jane kind of  fell  into the ghoulies;  they were there,  treated her like a damn princess   (  except 4 malachai he’s still a butt so  )  ,  so young her happily did jobs for them.

at a young age,  she was well versed in running drugs,  navigating social functions  -  as well as being able to pose a northsider.  she has a few friends there  …  but push come to shove would probably let them die if she lived.

often,  she gives advice.  she’s smart,  sneaky;  if they need a way out of a situation,  they come to her.  if they need  A KILL -  well,  no one will expect a girl so small,  so innocent,  with the prettiest blue eyes to do anything about it.

she meets  nathaniel  in high school.  he’s too old,  but so handsome,  and treats her like a  PRINCESS.  in a different way that the ghoulies do.  he doesn’t want anything from her,  but to be with her.  but she doesn’t know he’s a serpent.  and when she finds out ?  there’s some doubt.  not in him,  but in what she’s doing.  yet;  she’s blinded by love. a classic romeo and juliet story.  except he joins for her,  and she doesn’t see it coming.  maybe they went to too many ghoulie parties together.  top secrets are definitely kept from her.  jane’s in charge of the  PHYSICAL,  DIRTY  work until adrian comes along.  then ?  they do it together.

she’s good with a gun and a knife.  jane’s a  JACK OF ALL TRADES  ,   when it comes to a skill set  .  decent at hand to hand combat. best at seducing. though, do note: she never PURPOSELY used that on adrian, or to get him to join the ghoulies.

post  ! arrest leaves a sad,  vulnerable,  sleep deprived archie.  he’s  SCARED,  in all honesty,,,  scared of what’s to come next,  scared to keep people around  ‘cause he knows he’ll drag them down with him.  he knows the arrest was only the beginning  &  he has no fuckin clue on how to make it stop.  it’s safe to say he’s feeling waves of  PARANOIA  &  ANXIETY,  but he’ll supress it literally as much as he can.  he’s getting back into writing music,  tho,  so hopefully that helps  ?

like i said,  archie is  HELLA  sleep deprived these days.  he’s kept up late w pressing thoughts  /  stress  / anxiety  / paranoia,  &  will literally just sit in bed until he either decides to run it out,  or talk to betty ab it  (  if her light’s on,  ofc  !  )  in this verse,  it’s not odd to find the boy w deep bags under his eyes  /  literally just drifting off in school.  sad.

he broke up with ronnie via the notion that he needs to step back as far away as possible from the lodges.  he still loves /  cares about her so much  &  wants to support her  /  be friends,  but it’s a scary time for him.  he needs to disaffiliate w lodge industries,  &  get back to his roots ! he’ll focus on being her  friend,  &  honestly,  that’s what they  both  need right now.

speaking of roots,  archie has been spending  A  LOT  of time w betty  !  they’re next door neighbors  /  best friends,  so naturally,  he’s going to her with a lot of his fears.  when he can’t sleep at night  ???  he calls her.  when he's tryin not to be alone  ???  he calls her.  various other issues  ??  u guessed it.  all her.  she’s become his literal  girl friday,  &  it’s inevitably making him think about her a ton  ??  while he’s at it,  he’s been pondering their kiss,  &  is allowing himself to recognize the immense feelings he’s had for her.  even tho he  KNOWS  he’ll never be good enough for her,  he’s finally willing to let himself  try  to be.  he doesn’t want to hurt her again,  though,  so he’ll walk on egg shells until she’s ready  !

miscellaneous fun facts  /  late night musings

obviously he’s primarily riverdale based, but as an avid reader of the comics,  i’m inclined to throw some of his personality from those in as well  !  this means arch is  ?  i guess more so in touch w his emotions  ?  like,,,  he  is  in the show,  but in the comics it’s just.  deeper.  i dunno.  he’s an emotional lil boy.  fav comic moment is when he tried to call himself an  albatross  but accidentally said albacore.  tragic.  :(

there’s no single,  widely accepted star sign for him,  so i’ve decided to make my archie a  pisces  !  seeing as i myself am one  &  a lot of the charas i draw inspo from are  (  ie.  ron weasley  ),  i only feel like it’s fitting.  defense:  arch is extremely sensitive  /  emotional.  he has a huge heart,  he’s the ~creative~ type,  he’s idealistic,  loyal,  patient,  genuine  &  hella romantic.  &  finally  ??  the 1985 birthday issue for archie states that his birthday’s is in march  !

in his earlier high school days i think he focuses his relationships a lot on lust rather than love  (  grundy,  val  &  even ronnie to an extent  ).  he’s v quick to say i love you  &  a lot of his relationships are v sexually based.  i think as he grows up tho he’s kinda realizing the importance of like  ? love  > lust.  this does not in the slightest invalidate his relationships  ( besides grundy bc that shit is fucked up.  he was so manipulated  &  it was mentally awful for him.  gross.  ),  i think it’s just the fine line of Who He Was  vs  Who He’s Becoming.  maturity at it’s finest,  my dudes.

archie andrews is an  INCREDIBLY  physical guy  !!  meaning he’s  gonna  hold your hand,  put an arm around you,  hug you,  etc  ...  it’s just a show of him caring  !

while post arrest has him scared  &  trying to back off everything  ...  it’s only a matter of time before arch starts plotting to take down hiram with the rest of the gang.  he just  ... needs some time.  betty needs time.  veronica needs time.  &  jug  ?  he’s  kinda  got his hands full w the serpents,  so  ...  we’ll table that,  for now  ! (  aka:  i’ll explore this more when we finally get a hiram !!  )

to be honest i don’t know so let’s start there

i’m Fond of comics harvey although why he’s basically useless. but i relate

he’s i guess popular and traditionally attractive and good at acting but also super self-deprecating at times lol

things i’m taking from the comics is that he’s on the football team

but also still a nerd, more so like netflix harvey

and he draws but he doesn’t really like to show people mainly bc the subject matter is yikes and he doesn’t want people to think he’s weird/scary

which i guess is to say he’s mildly concerned with fitting in but it’s not really that hard??? when ur athletic and cute ya feel lol

i truly don’t understand the whole mining thing so i’m ignoring it we don’t know her

but he has an older brother because i support brotherhood and also let’s still say his dad is an ass

maybe we throw it back to the OG show and he’s had a fair amount of spells cast on him which has a kind of adverse affect, instead of having uh scene a demon as a child lmao

and that just kinda messes with his psyche and he has weird dreams sometimes
