Yuuri stood outside the door of the biosphere, tray in hand as he took a deep breath and let it out. Out of his three charges, this was definitely his least favorite trip of the day. Viktor was rather complaisant, as long as Yuuri explained what was going to happen, and talked him through it. He had made the most progress with him, learning what made him smile and laugh, or what made him sad - he avoided those.
It was rewarding.
He struggled more with these two, more so Yuri. Letting out another breath he jugged the tray in his arms and swiped the card, before entering. “Good afternoon Yuri, Otabek.” Yuuri spoke in his usual cheery tone, making his way over to the table to place the tray down. Unlike the room where Viktor was staying, this biosphere was larger. It housed two beds, each on opposite sides of the sphere, with the bathroom between them, a curtain still able to allow them privacy.
Between the rest of the room and the door was a table with three chairs, one for both occupants, and one for himself. “I hope you both had a good morning.” He slowly started to take some candles from on the tray and set them out over the table. Each candle was a different scent, though what scent the were was unknown, do to the fact he’d removed the labels from each of them. “Today we’re going to try something a little different.”
Something he opened would work.
“If you both could please come join me at the table, I would really appreciate it.” He smiled, trying to seem as reassuring, and friendly as possible. He tried not to tell them what to do, though sometimes it was required. “I have a feeling your both going to enjoy today's testing.” He took a seat in his chair, opposite both of theirs. “And, if you’re well behaved today.” He looked at Yuri for this one, before smiling. “I have a present for you both.”
These were his secret weapon, and he’d had to jump through quite a few hoops to get it authorized. He reached into his bag and pulled out a small stuffed brown bear out of it and placed it on the table; that one was for Otabek. He pulled Yuri’s out next, which was a slightly-larger stuffed tiger, posing in the midst of a growl; it was rather adorable. “But you have to both follow my instructions to a T, and not complain even once.”
