“ even my students are talking about the badge club. ” woon’s lips purse and pucker into a pout before he rests his cheek in his palm. love alarm is hardly the topic of conversation that he’d choose to partake in, but it’s not like he can exactly tell his students to quit talking even if he’d rather they focus on their lessons. it also doesn’t help when his own friends bring it up - if he’s honest, he’s surprised that it was nathan who mentioned it in the first place. after all, it’s not like he has love alarm either. “ do you have to talk about it, too ...? ”
with his voice trailing off, woon sighs and allows his hand to fall down into his lap. the moment the words are out of his mouth, he regrets them - feels bad for how harsh they sound even to his own ears. an apology is quick on his lips, “ sorry .. just wasn’t expecting the topic of conversation.” and truthfully, he never is. even if love alarm is such a big part of everyone’s lives, he wishes it was never a part of his. maybe things would be so different if the app was just .. never invented. “ what’s the deal? do you have to go to one of those badge club parties this time for some pictures or something? ”
