I know I’ve already mentioned what a wack relationship IGO and Gourmet Corp has but man. Just the fact that all the IGO higher ups know the Gourmet Corp guys by name and chat about them like their little brother’s annoying friends is so insane to me

Spoilers below about that in retrospect

Literally everything makes so much more sense about their relationship when it’s revealed that Gourmet Corp IS in fact led by Ichiryu’s punk little brother. Like IGO is seriously coming at this from an older brother friend group interacting with the punk little brother’s friend group perspective. No wonder they all seem to just be vaguely amused and exasperated by their antics instead of actually on different sides of an ideological war.

Like Ichiryu just tells his friends “yeah he’s been having a hard time since mom died. Give him a bit to work it out of his system, alright?” And then they’ve been working from that perspective for hundreds of years now

I started playing Wuthering Waves recently and came across an awesome quest, revolving around the game of Go. The quest, Immortal Blaze, is about immortality, as you can get from its name. And the position on the board, that was showed in the game, is a real match between Uchida Shuhei 3-dan and O Meien 9-dan.

This is a rare situation, called "The Eternal Life", creating an infinite loop where players can capture and recapture stones in a cycle that can go on forever, with no clear winner. The game becomes, in essence, "immortal". I was so fascinated by this quest and its deep meaning!

The cold sweat that he’d broken into last night stuck drenched strands of hair onto his forehead, forming swirling pools of black – reminiscent of an atramentous night sky – on his pale skin. A singular droplet fell from his hairline, travelling across the plateau of his prominent brow ridge and dangling on the delicate eyelashes that covered the dulled brown of his half-closed eyes. As Coco brought a hand – careful to use the arm that wasn’t attached to the IV bag – over to his eyes to flick the condensation off, he grimaced at the sheer amount of labor it took to move any of the muscles on his body. It's a Coco childhood angst fic... of course... This is actually the first time I'm writing a fanfic (I've only written oc stuff until now) so everything feels new but I'm loving it™
