Daryl sat on the concrete floor, not knowing exactly how to feel. He knew he was angry, but he was also worried and concerned. Who wouldn’t though? He slammed his knife repeatedly to the ground, he was angry at himself. His head falling back with thought before plunging the blade into the wall instead of the ground. It didn’t help in the slightest, making him get up in a fit of rage and kicking the wall. He paced around, he knew he had heard the door moving besides the walker that blocked it. He quickly moved the body and opened the door, ready to attack. But instead, he was met with you. You looked exhausted, could barely move. His eyes widen in surprise, staying frozen for a few seconds before caressing your chin gently. He tried to stay serious, because he was worried. But knowing the fact he had you back now, brought up a smile to his face. Hugging you tightly as he carried you bridal style out of the tight room. You were dirty, filthy and tired but he could care less. Daryl kissed your forehead lightly, not wanting to put too much pressure onto you. “Don’t ever scare me like tha again, you hear?”
