This anime just.....fucking gets gay people. And I am pretty mad someone marked it as “Shounen Ai” just because it has gay people in it. That way it lost a lot of potential watchers. You shouldn’t get (or worse: expect) something like trigger warnings for gay people existing. What the fuck is wrong with you.

Ah yes, just like in the bible. I highly recommend this anime, it’s called Hoozuki no Reitetsu and will get a second season soon as far as i know. (It’s about a demon trying to manage the japanese subdivisions of hell)

I know I already gushed about this but once again I wanna say how nice it is that the makers of Oushitsu Kyoushi Haine went out of their way to not just write gibberish in their anime but went with actual (correct) German. And yes, Käsekrainers are a thing.

I took some screenshots while watching “Re:Creators”. The English sentences are correct, the German ones mostly are, and I don’t know about the other languages shown.

Thoughts on Re:Creators Episode 1-4: While the premise of the story is really interesting and the characters are nice references to popular anime franchises, it feels like there wasn’t enough thought put into. Which is ironical enough, considering how much the characters stress the importance of thinking your creations through instead of half-assing them. The biggest flaw, in my opinion, is that all explanations are (or have to be) delivered via dialogue. I understand that most of it might be too complex to go for the “show-don’t-tell” approach but it does a lot of damage to the anime: As soon as any kind of action starts to take off it is interrupted again to make room for explanations. Episodes 2 and 4 were basically just about telling us what happened in Episodes 1 and 3, all via characters talking, which starts to get a bit exhausting after a while. It also takes away time we could have used to get to know the characters themselves better, especially since there are so many of them and new ones are introduced all the time. Hopefully they’ll be done with the explanation-heavy episodes now and try to unlock the story’s full potential a bit more……. So far it gets a 6/10 from me, but there is still room for improvement and I’d be happy to adjust that score in the future. Also I’d be interested in hearing what other people on here think about it?
