Taking a seat inside the rail car and smiling “Oh it’s nothing too stressful. I’ll explain things a bit later. It might just amount to gopher work as they say. The archives are quite large and I may need you to retrieve something while I’m working on a few projects.”

Taking a look over at Sable, she couldn’t help but chuckle. “You look lovely dear but I can’t help but feel our district’s preferred fashion is something you don’t fully enjoy. Not a fan?” She’d pour herself a glass of water and take a sip “Don’t lie to me by the way, I don’t like it when people try to lie..”

“¡Pa’ su mecha!”

Laura swore as she stomped through the brush into a clearing. With two exams and a paper due in a few days, it had been a pretty stressful week for the girl. So, she needed to let off some steam. But, since the training rooms were all booked, she had to make due with her second favorite way to relax; painting her nails. But, it didn’t seem to be helping today. She kept getting nail polish on her skin, messing up the coating, and the smell of acetone was starting to burn her nose from how many times she had to restart. It got to the point where she was just. so. mad. that she’d probably shoot the next thing that bothered her.

A knock at the door caused her to spill some of her nail polish on her sheets. Laura growled in frustration and cleaned up the mess as best as she could before stomping over and yanking the door open. Her anger quickly subsided when she noticed the person behind it was a nervous-looking cat faunus. Must’ve been that guy Tsubaki mentioned.

“Hey, you’re Night, right?”

“Alright... now that I have you confined to a hospital bed I can explain to you in detail... just how badly you screwed up.” Shani stood in front of what looked like a series of translucent screens.

Charity events like this were probably one of the few things Nava was permitted to explore alone, they weren't open to the public so a detailed list of all attendants was available upon request and it had been requested. She hated crowds, at least alone. With Bonnie, they were easy to traverse her tall friend seemed to make a path for herself no matter where they were. A skill Nava learned she did not possess.

Which was how she ended up at a booth with little to no people.

"Hello." She greeted with a trained polite smile and small bow of her head as she looked over the pieces placed along the table. "Tell me about your work." The quiet voice requested gaze flickering from the piece before her to the other women for a mere moment.

“Night, right?” Lapis stood there looking down at some mousy faunus girl. He had approached in his usual way- with that air of distant professionalism he had practiced so diligently. Shoulders broad but relaxed, he keeps his hands in his pockets and waits for a response. In one of said pockets was some random item she had apparently left with Reynard the last time they saw each other.

It was weird how trusting the girl could be given her innate suspicion of most other places, always walking like they were about to get jumped. So once again she had made some random friend and it was up to him to clean up the mess. How they roped him into this was anyone’s guess.

“...records..” Leading the way through a few backstreets just to keep them both out of sight for the most part. Strangely, for a man his size he seemed to be fairly quick and he knew how to keep out of view when it counted. He stopped for a moment and reached into his pocket, handing Sable what looked like an earpiece. “...button..” pointing to the small button on it and motioning for her to put it on and press it.

The device had been designed by one of the people he worked for. When it was put on and activated it created something of a realistic holographic display, changing the wearer’s looks completely. It would also scramble any facial recognition that looked at her. “...hidden..” trying to get his point across that it would help her. Eventually heading to the hospital entrance.

He made his way around the back, pointing to a bag on the ground that was left for them. “...clothes..” sure enough someone had left a disguise for Sable, something that would let her walk into the records area without anyone paying it a thought. There was even a security badge included. “..alone..” pointing at the hospital. Apparently he couldn’t enter the way she would be able to.
