Weiss seeing Winter as such a great big sister makes compete sense after this episode, as um, the contrast to Jaques shows so very much. Also her complaint about Qrow being a drunk (given her mother), and that the fact that he was badmouthing Ironwood who probably helped her get out of her father's grasp probably made it very easy for Qrow to get her angry. The military was her escape and refuge. Qrow was trying to play her, and he seemed to find ALL the buttons.
