Hubert is desperate for a wife, and it makes sense for him to marry a cousin who was brought up by a good Jacoban family. The two sims have very good chemistry, and though she doesn't have a monetary dowry to bring to the main Collins residence, she brings with her plenty of herbs, baskets of eggs, and pails of goat's milk.
The naughty young lady even manages to snag a kiss while her brother isn't looking! That could have been quite scandalous if any sims had witnessed it.
Anthony is working at the newspaper, and he and his children live in a small home where they grow herbs and raise goats and geese.
Eventually, Josephine gives birth to a nooboo! She is so delighted to finally have a daughter, and names her Abigail. The boys are excited about their sister too, and end up jumping on the bed in the middle of the night.
Because Elizabeth and Benedict have sunk into abject poverty due to his gambling and constant spending on woohoo workers, the Baroness has decided to help them by taking on one of their daughters and raising her among the other Carter children. Annabelle doesn't have a dowry, but with the Carter good looks and a gentlewoman's education and upbringing, the Baroness is hoping that she will be settled comfortably in life. Lady Carter firmly impresses upon Annabelle her extraordinary good fortune, and implores her to be grateful.
Everyone in this house is a mess with their grief, their fragile mental states, and a flu bug which most of them have caught. It's all I can do to keep everyone alive and Deborah has to retire and devote herself to her grandkids full time.
On the last day, the twin babies age up. A lot of the kids look like Esther, which is nice but also a sad reminder for Hubert. I really don't want to get him married off again just for another wife to make a bunch of babies and die, but he is going to need more help around the house so I'll have to see what I can do there. Next, we'll check in with George's family!
Hubert and his wife are family sims, so they really like trying for babies. Young Richard ages up well and they have another son named Joseph, and then he ages up to a toddler when they've just finished trying for another baby.
All the sims contribute to the maintenance of the parsonage and the spread of the Jacoban faith in their own way. Hubert chats to sims about the watcher and tries to convert them, while Esther composes hymns and Deborah helps with chores.
Deborah also teaches at the local Jacoban school and helpfully provides misinformation to the students about woohoo so that they don't behave scandalously and upset the watcher.
Hubert and Esther want a baby very badly, and it doesn't take them very long to have one. They name him Richard after his late grandfather.
