Sam waked into the hall once more, a smile playing on his lips as he acted as if nothing was wrong. Making his way over to the punch bowl, which most seemed to be avoiding, he poured himself a glass and drunk it down in one. Shaking his head he sighed as he looked around at his friends and the couples dancing together. He really had made a mess of this night for himself and now for Belle, it couldn't have come at a worse time, but then he couldn't blame her for her feelings. Leaning against the table he placed his hands in his trouser pockets and crossed one leg over the other, waiting and watching to see if he could see anyone he knew to talk to or dance with. The song was fairly slow that was playing around them, another student was singing for the prom again, their voice was mellow and soothing, and it kinda relaxed Sam a little more.
