And it’s just…I’m used to it just being me and my sister for my birthday and since this is my first year without her I’d rather just spend it alone then try to have a party I know people I don’t like will try to crash. Especially since it’s you know…my ‘sweet’ sixteen people usually expect a party with that sort of thing.

It’s understandable you don’t want people tinkering in your domain. It’s like, please let the master do her work. No matter what you make it will be delicious. I can honestly say I’ve been satisfied. I never wanted to teach. It was a choice when I came here, between cooking for the school or teaching the kids. I get along with them on a person-to-person level, as opposed to the mindframe that comes with being a teacher. I was never properly schooled, anyway...not like that. I have professional culinary training, sure, but it's just...stressful.

Ah, you're too kind. Which reminds me, if you ever want something just ask. I'm more than pleased to make it. On the menu or not.

Oh, thank you. It's nice to have face-to-face recognition. When I walk into the kitchen and see people just tinkering it kind of drives me nuts. It used to not bother me, but the next thing I knew every student is a master-chef and none of them asked to use my things. I appreciate that, thank you. I'm trying to think of what to do tomorrow. I don't want to be too much of the...repetitive cook.

There is still a ban on the kitchens. I'm enjoying being in there by myself far too much to share it with anyone else, now. If you have a serious reason to be cooking in there, we can sit down and discuss a possible time for you to use my cookware. Otherwise, I'm still going to scold you if you come in for anything other than eating what I work hard to prepare for you.

Really? He’s cute but he’s a terror. The other dog, Ray, hopefully will keep him in line once he starts feeling better. He got really depressed when he went to the shelter and so I’m hoping he warms up to his new home.

We never had pets when I was growing up. Too poor, they took too much money and attention. I was never sore for it, though. I don't know if I have the right programming to sit down with a pup and just spread attention on him. I have to be doing something all the time, so I busy my hands with cooking. I've got some recipes for dog biscuits, though. If you ever want some for them, I'd be happy to make them.

I wouldn't go that far. I'll get to making one. Beef, bean...preference?

I just got here, but man everyone is so stressed here. Can you give me the Reader’s Digest version as to why?

Giant snake went through the school and put some people in the infirmary. Couple that with finals week and people cramming while they eat. Of course I can't skimp out on the food now, I have to dress everything up much nicer than I usually do, which is already a task in and of itself. Last week of school is stressful enough as it is. Add onto that the passing of some huge issue in the school? No way. I need to sit out for about a week and just vegetate on my life.

Of course...I won't do that. I need to keep my hands and mind busy.

The truth is always an appreciated thing, at least for someone like me. Lying was basically a crime, during my time, and I saw many people be beheaded for it- regardless of gender. You are interesting to me, and that is really all that matters when it comes to the two of us. We do not need the opinions of others, I know I never did. An open book, you say? Do I at least get titles for the chapters, or do I just pick a random one?

…Oh. So does that mean you would not want to attend the casino dance for royals with me? Or is it the royal casino for dancers? Such titles are confusing to me, to say the least, but I am trying to keep up which counts for something.

I've done more than enough lying in my life already. I spent a decent portion of time using my gift to lie to others, as well as my wiles. I just don't want to be bringing all of that bad karma around to something I genuinely enjoy. I feel like I already paid a price, even before I did anything that was worth calling "worthy" of the ramifications. I just hope that I remain interesting to you, Seamus. I would hate to lose the company of someone such as yourself. As for the chapters, they were never really worthy of titles. You can pick a random one and we'll go from there.

Are you asking me to the prom, Seamus? I wasn't planning on going but I would be more than happy to attend with you. Yes, it does count for something. Your effort is well noted, as well as charming.

My sister sent me money to get one…Managed to find one still, and I’m reusing shoes and other things for it. Maybe one day you will go to another formal occasion like this and own an elegant enough dress.

I don't really see the point in spending money on something that I'm going to wear once. Maybe a wedding or something, however I don't see myself in that situation for another few years yet.
