The rhetorical choices that I decided to use for my DSA where videos and a Twitter post that all talk about Gun Violence Laws. The videos that I decided to use all have several pathos behind them. I decided to use these because the topic and its consequences also have pathos just as the video where President Obama talks about the new gun violence laws.

The use of statistical information published by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) helped me to establish ethos in the Documentary by allowing me to educate and inform the audience about what Zika virus is and how it can propagate in tropical areas of the world. By using ethos in the Doc i plan to also inform the audience what are the consequences of getting infected by Zika virus when pregnant women travel to tropical areas, in tjhis case congenital diseases such as microcephaly and guillain-bare syndrom. Lastly, by the use of ethos i plan inform the audience that the health of their child is far more important than traveling, because by traveling they could affect their child’s health forever.

One of the rhetorical choices that was used in my DSA, was the use of video images and pictures to portray immigration. The use of logos was established through the usage of several charts showing the rate of immigrants and their origin that are currently or have been a part of the United States. The video explains the causes of immigration and the actions that are taken in order to minimize the number of immigrants that come into the United States.
