Modern GPU's get hot, and that gets a whole lot worse when a fan dies on you! What are the alternatives? OEM replacement? Aftermarket solution? Or maybe go the DIY route!
In this video, I am trying to avoid spending any money to get my graphics card to run cooler. I am using arctic freezer 33 Esports fans but the same applies to any 120mm case fans that you might have.
The choice of fan will make the card either cooler or quieter or maybe a combination of both.
I went from the card hitting 90c regularly, to it sitting around the 70c mark so that is a massive improvement, and best of all the mods aren't destructive so I can easily just replace the OEM fans at a later date.
I think it looks pretty good. What do you think?
