...so I've gotten into Gunpla. Ive posted some customs and kitbashes on Bluesky, but I figured I should share here too! This is a project I'm currently working on: Gundam as Power Rangers! G Ranger Red is the OG grandpa Gundam, the RX78-2, with no specific Ranger or Sentai suit as the base. The color layout took a little to figure out, but I'm really happy where I've landed, and this is going to be the blueprint for how I organize the colors with the others I'm doing, with tweaks depending on the individual Gundam. The swords here I grabbed from the GQuuuuuuX, and I think they complete the look! I'll be sharing Blue or Pink next, once they're all touched up and ready.

I think my Nu Gundam has an attitude defect.. I also like the height difference bet. these two kits, its like Amuro is compensating for something. I imagine Amuro was thinking while designing to be like "let the new gundam be taller, darker color scheme, and be a one-winged angel, but let those wings be funnels." coz let's admit, when the Nu Gundam is on Dual Fin Funnel mode, it looks like it has wings..
