Just another day at the office. Worked with a hardy crew to burn 299 acres in a prescribed burn. Wildfire is a natural process that we have a history of suppressing, making these controlled burns necessary for the health of the forest. I created this video for The Nature Conservancy of a controlled Burn at their Kitty Todd Nature Preserve on October 23, 2014.  Watching it happen from the air is certainly a great way to observe the fire!
