“Hey, bud. Ever heard of the X-men comics? They’re pretty cool.” (-rxgingcajxn)
Only comics I've ever found in good enough shape to read were Hubris. Tell me about these X-Men.

Autumn cringed as she undid the final attachment that held her arm to her shoulder. It felt like she was ripping the nerves in her body. It fell to the floor with a clank and screech and she stared at the hunk of metal, dented and tarnished, pieces missing. She flipped through the box at her side and grabbed a screwdriver from it, pressing her foot against the forearm.
It was unnerving to stare at her own arm. But, she had to fix it and fixing it with it on was a bitch. No point in taking it slow, she supposed.
Even rushing, it took her two hours before repairs were complete. Not everything could be fixed. She would lose all use of her thumb, and the elbow’s joint was on its way out the door if she wasn’t careful.
She set her tool down and ran her hand through her bangs. Incomplete. That was the best way to describe this feeling.
Now, to get the arm back on.
“Hey, Remy?” she called out from the space he’d been so generous to give her. “Can, uh, oh god this is gonna sound bad... Can you lend me a hand?”

His feet had moved quickly to avoid the enemy’s fire, a shower of bullets that pelted the brickwork at his back when they had missed their target. Favouring evasive manoeuvres rather than engage directly, he tried to stay out of the worst of the fighting, recent experiences encouraging him to develop the habit of picking and choosing which battles he got involved in and which he stayed away from altogether. Diving for cover as the full clip of a gun chips away at the surface of the wall granting him cover, the blond tugs at his wrist, searching for a possession that Stark had once described as his ‘membership card,’ whatever that was supposed to mean.
But as his fingers probed through the weaves of fabric, no plastic Avengers ID card was covered, leaving Thor without any means of contacting his allies for support. If only he still had his hammer-- this dispute would’ve been settled in seconds.

Bucky grumbled as Gambit pried one of his eyes open, but made no move otherwise.
He shrugged at the questions before managing to mumble, "Mm.. had a couple drinks a water..." His words slurred.
"Sleep 'nds good?" He said eyes still blinking as he tried to focus.
“Movie or sleep?” -rxgingcajxn

“I mean, why not both?” Warren suggested with a shrug. They could put a movie on but not have the pressure on them both to make them feel like they had to stay awake.

“Those sparks - is that what you can do?”

“Dude! What’s your problem?”
Pain shot up his back as the mutant shoved him against the bricks. He wasn’t sure where that outburst came from. As far as he knew they were on good terms. Huffing, he pushed his hands away and tried to slip out from underneath him.

Wanda was usually so careful when she transformed back to her human form every full moon but today she’d been reckless, staying in her wolf form longer than usual. Long enough for the fishermen to begin arriving for the early morning catch and make it harder for her to get back through the forest to her clothes before the sun fully rose. If she was still in her wolf form when dawn broke, she would remain in this form until the next full moon. So she had no choice but to return to her human form and do her best to sneak through the woods back to where she’d left her things hidden in a tree. Wanda crouched down without a stitch of clothing on her, fishing through her backpack for a towel when she heard a twig snap behind her. She pulled the towel from the bag and used it to cover what she could as she stood and swivelled around to see another man in the clearing with her. “Um, good morning.”
