Slim fingers grip onto the camera bag that hangs from his shoulders as he weaves through a few overgrown sections of grass and bushes, occasionally stopping to peek over his shoulder, letting out a quiet, shaky laughter as she grows rather hesitant now that they’re almost at Rory’s desired location; some abandoned school that he’d had his eye on for a few months now. It was just the case of finding the time and someone willing to break a few boundaries with him. It took about a week or so to convince the female to tag along, he’d even bribed her a few times and offered to buy her lunch for the rest of the semester – apparently, that was all she needed to hear.
He shuffles his way through one of the entrances, a soft smile curling onto his lips at his discovery. He’d seen many pieces revolved around old, damaged and abandoned buildings and honestly this was something he’d been meaning to test out for quite awhile – he was certain he’d get a few good shots out of this, perhaps he’d even try to include the female in one or two.
From what he notes, she seems a little on the edge about this whole situation, he knows that being here was a risk for the both of them but; could it really be that bad? Soon enough, she decides to pipe up and let her worries out to the young male, showing her clear concern with getting in trouble with the law. Rory simply lets out another shaky laugh, adjusting the lens of his camera as he stutters. “Ca– can yo.. you really ca.. call this a– crime..?”
With every step the female took, a sense of disturbance bothered her now rather than when she did her own crimes. Even just trudging through the tall grass, a strong scent of greens and nature went through her system and soon she had no desire to continue. But she had to. Even if the male didn't bribe her she'd still come along to watch over him. Joohee took a look over Rory, having seen this building once, twice, before when ahe and Rory had passed by and by the last visit, she swore he'd seen his eyes twinkle. She understood why--it was a haunting, attractive in it's own broken way. It really was a view to take in. If Rory wanted it that way, as long as he was happy and with precaution, she had to comply.
Soon she hesitantly made her way through the barbed gate, and melded through some molded old doorway following Rory in. Somehow she felt at ease now, maybe it was her somewhat fear of getting wrangled through the grass earlier, or maybe she felt that she was safer here. She broke in lots of times, yes, but with Rory she'd make it her responsibility to get him far from getting in trouble.
She didn't hesitate to bend the thin rays of light that seeped through the cracked walls and barred windows to lighten the room, Rory already knew what she was. Her eyes traveled through the room and, surprisingly, she felt at home, (Not that her actually home was like this, but she felt at home.) but she averted her eyes to her friend, worry in her eyes and her thin lips curling in anxiously. Joohee looked at him peculiarly, watching him set up his camera before letting out a sigh as her thin fingers ran through her hair. "I... Guess n-not?" she shrugged. The government wouldn't bother touching a building like this, she's known that. People can hide in abandoned places and leave untraced. It was safe to say, much to her relief, that it was all right.
