why does nate hate ryan after the initial escape? i get why ryan mistrusts/hates nate, but why the other way around if nate wants what's best for danny and ryan so clearly loves his brother?
Basically, Ryan distrusts and dislikes Nate because he thinks Nate was an accomplice and not entirely a victim, and he doesn't understand how Nate just let it happen for so long, then came here with Danny and just... started building a life. Ryan is sure that there is something shadowed and mean in Nate that he isn't showing.
For Nate, he finds Ryan kind of an interloper in the peace he and Danny find in each other, and bristles as Ryan treats him like he did it, too. Ryan spikes Nate's guilt, and Nate responds with hostility.
